COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: Will I be charged customs duties when DCA returns my graded items to me?
A: DCA will include a document stating that you have not purchased the items being returned to you. In most cases this is document will exclude you from paying customs duties. If customs are due you will be responsible for them so check with your local customs office for rules to ensure there will be no duties.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING RATES FOR ALL ITEMS
Shipping rates vary for international customers and customers in Alaska and Hawaii.
A credit card number must be provided for return shipping. We will charge all grading fees when we receive your items. Once your items are graded and boxed for return shipping, we will charge your credit card for the actual shipping costs plus a $7.50 per box handling and materials fee.

NOTE: If you would like to get an estimate on return shipping costs, we recommend visiting http://ircalc.usps.gov/ for USPS shipping and insurance charges. A standard CDA-graded doll without a flap weighs approximately 3-5 pounds when packaged. Any additional questions about international shipping should be directed to info@diecastgrader.com.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMS INFORMATION
Important Customs Information regarding shipping items to DCA:
If you send your items to DCA via a private shipping company, we might be billed for customs clearing fees. If DC is billed for customs clearing fees, we will charge your credit card for the exact amount we are billed.

NOTE: We are not billed any additional fees to receive packages shipped to us via the postal service.

Important Customs Information regarding return shipping from DCA:
Most countries will not charge an import duty because we include documentation stating that the items were sent by you to the U.S. for grading and authentication purposes. It has been our experience that international customers do not have to pay customs when we include this form. Please check with your local customs office for laws and procedures to be sure you will not have to pay customs duties when your items are returned to you.

NOTE: DCA now uses a 3rd party insurance company. This allows us to declare only the actual grading fees we have charged on your return shipping customs forms. The value you assign to your items will not be listed on your return form, but the items will still be fully insured during return shipping.
